Our primary objective where we have identified an immediate need is with regards to the informal recyclers. I am sure we have all seen these hard working men, woman and in some cases children hauling large quantities of recycled goods on the road. Our team has interviewed and conducted research on the informal recyclers and some of their stories is nothing short of remarkable.
We therefore require assistance in helping them to sustain themselves. The money they earn from the work they exude is not enough to sustain their activities. They cannot manage to transport large volumes simply on their trolleys in dangerous conditions and receive a meagre wage. We aim to alleviate this in any form or manner we can.
The parcels distributed will include the following:
Safety gear

- Easy to move trolleys
- Protective gloves
- Comfortable shoes
Food items:
- Maize Meal
- Beans
- Samp
- Meat (Halal/Kosher)
